CD/Music Store Section Help

The CD/Music Store Section allows you to browse through the many CDs on my Siggnal Sounds label, as well as my ragtime compositions, and occasionally older sheet music, and purchase any of these items as well. Downloads are being considered and developed for the near future as of 2015.

The merchandise has been divided between many pages that show detail and full song listings for each of the CDs, or a page of the sheet music as well as an MP3 file of it. For the CD listings, if there is a small speaker next to the title, you can click on the speaker or the title to play back a sample of that title.

There is also a View All CDs page which shows only thumbnail images and descriptions. Clicking on a CD thumbnail image will produce a pop-up window with details of the pieces included on that CD.

The ordering is relatively straightforward. This site uses the PayPal system because it is generally trouble-free and very secure for the user. No information from your order can be read from the time it leaves your browser until it gets to its destination, such is the encryption they use. All I see at my end is your order, address, and the last four digits of your card, or your payment method. Only the bank computer receives your full card number, so it is much more secure than paying for a meal in a restaurant or making a purchase at a store where your number can easily be copied.

To order, click on the appropriate button. A pop-up window from PayPal will appear showing your current cart contents. You can then close that and continue shopping. When you are done, you can click on the Proceed to Checkout button from the cart, or the View Cart button in the top section to bring the cart up if it is not showing. From there, you will be sent to the PayPal site to complete your transaction, and we will immediately receive notification of your order.

Please Note that there are alternate methods to paying through PayPal that don't require a credit card, and that no membership is required. You can use an electronic check, fairly common for on-line bill paying, which requires only that you put in the information from one of your checks which will be immediately processed. Or you can also mail a check into PayPal and they will notify me as soon as it has been received.

We have also had a direct Pay By Mail method in the past. Due to security issues with email spammers using this code to launch thousands of emails, it has been temporarily put on hiatus until more secure code can be put in place. However, you can also write me directly at to make a direct order which will be gladly accepted and quickly processed.
