DVD/RW

Acronym for Digital Versatile Disc Recordable Writable, a blank DVD disc that can be recorded and rewritten multiple times. You can use only a computer DVD rewriting recorder for data, music and video. Music can be stored in the form of Wave or MP3 files, or part of a video soundtrack on multiple channels. Some devices allow you to record onto a DVD/RW in multiple sessions rather than all at once. Maximum storage time is typically 240 minutes for video or 4.7 gb for data.
