Multi-Track Recorder

A recording device with microphone and line inputs that is capable of recording and playing back four or more tracks of sound simultaneously, allow the recording or playback of single tracks, and allow for the mixing of all tracks into one or two channels. Common multi-track recorders utilize Cassette tape (analog), Reel to Reel (analog/digital), MiniDisc (digital), or a Hard Disc Drive (digital) as storage media.
