Queen of Beauty - Waltzes
Words by Arthur Trevelyan, Music by Otto M. Heinzman
Waltz 1: Moonlight night, Stars shine bright,
Sweet flow'rs perfume the air.
Ev'ry guest, Gaily dress'd,
Maidens both dark and fair.
Bands now play, Tunes so gay,
Music would all joys enhance.
Partners choose, No time lose,
Ah! who would not join the dance.
Waltz interlude
Waltz 2: Queen of Beauty, Even her foes admire her.
Hearts she is thrilling, o'er and o'er.
Queen of Beauty, Dancing can never tire her.
Always willing to have one waltz more.
Waltz interlude
Waltz 3: All care has vanished, Sorrow is banished
When in the dance you whirl.
Hearts are so light, so gay and free,
Laughter rings out so merrily,
Love tales romancing, While you are dancing,
Life's path with roses seems strewn.
But sad to say, Time so quickly flies away,
That it ends too soon.
Waltzes to end.
